Way Back Home|Celtic & Viking Links|The Clans
Starting about 795-800 AD, Norwegian Vikings began raiding and settling Scotland and Ireland. During the 9th century, they firmly rooted themselves into the Scottish/Irish scene. During this time, many of the Locals allied themselves with, and married, the Norwegians and became Vikings themselves.
This is what the Modern Archeologist calls "Celto-Norse". A couple hundred years later, I play a late period viking of combined Norwegian and local Scottish descent.
